AMSL Diabetes announce sponsorship for Charity TV Global's "Adventure All Stars" Series

AMSL Diabetes are delighted to announce the sponsorship of Astra-Lia England who will be participating in the upcoming TV series of “Adventure All Stars”.
The international “Adventure All Stars” program is created and produced by Charity TV Global, an award-winning Australian TV production company. They successfully combine entertainment with philanthropy; rewarding people for their fundraising efforts by having them star in the ground-breaking travel TV series, “Adventure All-Stars”.
The upcoming series will star Astra-Lia England who is raising funds for Diabetes Australia. Diabetes Australia is committed to reducing the impact of diabetes through leadership, prevention, management and research. Astra-Lia, who lives with type 1 diabetes herself and uses Dexcom Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) to manage her glucose levels, recently said “I am so incredibly passionate about raising awareness for type 1 diabetes, as I think it’s important we break the stigma surrounding diabetes. I want other adults living with type 1 diabetes to have access to better support systems and know they’re not alone, as I experienced blame, shame, and loneliness in my first 4 years of diagnosis and I don’t want anyone else to go through the same.”
The series is expected to be filmed in March 2022 and broadcast on channel 7 and its affiliates shortly thereafter.
